Olumide Soyombo is a renown Nigerian serial entrepreneur, co-founder of Blue Chip Technologies and the founder of Lead Path Nigeria.
With a BSc in Systems Engineering from University of Lagos, Nigeria and an MSc (Distinction) in Business and Information Technology from the Aston Business School, Birmingham, England, Olumide’s scholastic achievements earned him Beta Gamma Sigma Society membership.
As co-founder of Bluechip Technologies, Olumide has a formidable reputation in the corporate sector. He has implemented solutions for a wide a range of establishments, including Etisalat Nigeria, Access Bank Plc, MTN Zambia, Airtel Nigeria, Multi-links Telkom, UAC, NNPC, and NDIC. Olumide Soyombo has from 2008 nurtured Bluechip Technologies Ltd from an organization with two employees to an organization with over 70 consultants spread across Lagos and Lusaka, Zambia.
Under his careful directorship, Bluechip Technologies has achieved several firsts in this region e.g. First Oracle Specialized Partner in Business Intelligence, First Oracle Partner to Implement Oracle Communications Data Model and first Oracle partner to implement the renowned Oracle Exadata Machine.
A serial entrepreneur and one of the early investors of Paystack, Olumide sits on the board of several organizations including ; Lead Path Global Asset Management, Bluechip Technologies , Bluechip Haulage and Logistics Limited, Global Executive Management (GEM) Ltd, Accutrade Nig. Ltd and West Acton Ltd. These ventures have demonstrated his competence in growing small businesses into reputable outfits; some of these SME’s currently generate annual turnovers in excess of $5million.
As a favorite hobby, Olumide is an avid squash player and lives in Lagos. One of his companies, Leadpath, has invested in several startups such as PushCV, Unregista, MediTell, RSVP among many others.
